Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026 · Effective: May 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DevelopingRiches Inc. (“DevelopingRiches,” “we,” “us”), which operates ReputationEmpirez and its products (collectively, the “Services”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information. It also describes the rights you have under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (“CCPA”), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and other applicable laws.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to visitors to our websites, prospects, and the authorized users of our customers’ accounts. Where we process personal information on behalf of a business customer (for example, end-customer review and contact data the customer uploads), we act as a service provider / processor and process that data under our customer’s instructions and the Data Processing Agreement.
2. Personal information we collect
In the preceding 12 months we collect the following categories (CCPA category in brackets):
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email, phone, business name, IP address, account ID | You; your account |
| Commercial information | Plan, billing history, transaction records | You; payment processor |
| Internet/network activity | Pages viewed, device/browser, cookies & similar tech | Automatic |
| Geolocation (approximate) | City/region from IP | Automatic |
| Customer content | Reviews, responses, contacts you connect/upload | You; connected platforms |
| Communications | Support tickets, emails, call/SMS records & consent | You |
| Inferences | Sentiment, engagement, product preferences | Derived |
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. [LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED: confirm whether any “sensitive personal information” (CCPA) is processed; if so, add the required notice + limit-use right.]
3. How we use personal information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions;
- Monitor review platforms and generate alerts/responses you request;
- Communicate with you (service messages and, with consent, marketing);
- Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and prevent fraud/abuse.
Where required (EEA/UK), our legal bases are: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (securing and improving the Services), consent (marketing, non-essential cookies), and legal obligation.
4. Automated processing & AI
We use automated and AI-assisted tools to draft review responses, classify sentiment, and flag potential attacks. A human can review automated outputs before they are published, and we do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means. [LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED: CCPA ADMT opt-out/notice obligations phase in from 2027-01-01 — add ADMT notice + opt-out before that date if applicable; also assess EU AI Act Art. 50 transparency duties for AI-generated content.]
5. How we disclose personal information
We disclose personal information to service providers/processors who help us run the Services (hosting, payments, email/SMS, analytics, support). See our Subprocessor List. We may also disclose to comply with law, in a corporate transaction, or with your direction.
We do not “sell” your personal information for money. Certain online advertising/analytics activity may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” (for cross-context behavioral advertising) under the CCPA. You can opt out at Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information or via the “Your Privacy Choices” control, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. [LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED: confirm whether any disclosure constitutes “sale”/“share”; list categories sold/shared in the preceding 12 months, or state “none.”]
6. How long we keep it
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. [LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED: insert specific retention schedule per data category.]
7. Your California (CCPA/CPRA) rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect; delete; correct inaccurate information; opt out of sale/sharing; limit the use of sensitive personal information (if any); and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We provide at least two methods to submit requests (this policy + the form below / our toll-free or email contact). We will confirm receipt and respond within the statutory timeframe (generally 45 days, extendable). When you opt out, we display visible confirmation that your preference has been honored.
Submit a request: privacy@reputationempirez.com or the opt-out page. You may use an authorized agent. We will verify your identity before fulfilling access/deletion requests.
8. Your EEA/UK (GDPR) rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. International transfers from the EEA/UK rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). [LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED: appoint EU/UK representative if Art. 27 applies; confirm transfer mechanism + DPF status of subprocessors.]
9. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies load only with your consent (EEA/UK) and you can change preferences anytime via “Your Privacy Choices.”
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Children
The Services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
12. Changes
We will update this policy as our practices or the law change and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be notified as required by law.
