Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the ReputationEmpirez Services and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. We built these products to help businesses earn and protect a genuine reputation. Using them to deceive consumers is strictly prohibited.

1. Prohibited: review fraud & deception

You may not use the Services to:

Create, solicit, buy, sell, or post fake, fabricated, or incentivized-for-positivity reviews, or reviews from people who did not have a genuine experience;
Post reviews using false identities, or suppress/alter genuine reviews to mislead consumers;
Offer compensation conditioned on the content or rating of a review;
Post reviews about your own business or a competitor’s while concealing a material connection;
Misrepresent, gate, or selectively suppress negative reviews in a deceptive way.

These practices may violate the FTC’s Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 465), state consumer-protection laws, and platform policies.

2. Prohibited: platform manipulation

Violating the terms of any connected platform (Google, Yelp, Meta, etc.);
Automated scraping or access in breach of a platform’s rules;
Attempting to game rankings through prohibited techniques.

3. Prohibited: communications abuse

Sending SMS, calls, or email without the consent and disclosures required by the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and our Privacy Policy;
Contacting numbers on applicable Do-Not-Call lists without an exemption;
Spam, harassment, or deceptive sender information.

4. Prohibited: unlawful, harmful & security-violating conduct

Illegal content, defamation, harassment, or infringement of others’ rights;
Uploading malware, probing or breaching security, or interfering with the Services;
Reverse engineering except as permitted by law; reselling the Services without authorization.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, and report unlawful activity. We may act immediately where there is risk of harm. Repeat or egregious violations result in termination without refund.

6. Reporting

Report suspected abuse to abuse@reputationempirez.com.
